Warmth for the work. Candor for the pattern.

A philosophy of change

Let your patterns be an honest expression of the person you want to be, not old, reactive behaviors.

I believe people are capable of changing personal and relational patterns that are no longer working for them. The work is not always comfortable, but it can be deeply meaningful and enjoyable to become more aware of yourself, understand the people you love, and experiment with a different way of relating.

I am based in Boulder, Colorado and specialize in therapy for couples, relationships, sex and intimacy, and individuals. I work with adults, couples, and teens 15+, and I welcome a wide range of identities and relationship configurations.

There is no prescribed way a person, relationship, or family should look. The work is to understand what matters most to you and move toward greater connection and compassion.

Warmth + Candor

Present, playful, and collaborative.

My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by curiosity across disciplines, places, languages, and ways of being human. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be honest without being judged. I may gently challenge you, point out a pattern I am noticing, or ask the question you have been avoiding.

My goal is to reflect your patterns more clearly and support you to engage your agency to create new relational experiences.

I offer tools to understand and practice, so insight becomes integration. You are the expert on your life; I am here to help you make choices aligned with your values and understand what is happening between you and the people you love. I am interested in what comes after insight and self-awareness and foster a space to answer the question “now what?” We build skills for interrupting repeating patterns and take an intentional next step toward a different way of being.

What informs the work

An integrative, relational perspective.

My approach draws from attachment-based, systemic, experiential, and relational therapies. I am interested in attachment history, nervous-system and body awareness, culture, and lived experience—and in how each of these shapes what happens between people. I am trained in systemic work as a Marriage and Family Therapist candidate (MFTC) and as an individual therapist candidate (LPCC).

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic approaches, Narrative Therapy, Relational Life Therapy, and a systemic lens inform the work. They are not a script; the process is shaped around you.
